The web provides a way for teachers to collaborate like never before. We have listed some of our favorite technology resources for finding / sharing / saving ideas and collaborating with other early childhood professionals!
Pinterest:
Use it to find images, projects, videos, stories for future lesson plans and save or “bookmark” them for future reference. Teachers can create “pin boards” for each class, subject area or topic. Click here to learn more about how educators are using Pinterest.
Facebook:
Find other ECE teachers/bloggers to “like”, and when they share new ideas and resources, these will show up in your Newsfeed. Teachers can also join or create Community pages to collaborate and share ideas with others in their grade or subject area. Ask questions and get ideas and support from other teachers.
The SEEDS Idea Search tool:
Search for ideas for lesson plans, early learning centers, classroom portfolios and classroom layouts. Use the search criteria selections customize your search to find exactly what you are looking for!
ELE:
Contains digital resources that support early learning and development in children from birth to age 5.
