Infant/Toddler Supplieschair, big paper, dishpan, tempera paint, bucket of water and towels DescriptionTape a sheet of paper beneath a child-height chair. Pour about 1/2 cup of paint into a dishpan and rub and place it in front of the child sitting in the chair. Have the child "dance" their happy feel in the paint and get them covered. Then take the tub away and allow the child to dance around the big piece of paper. Playing music during this activity is fun too. Using different colors can demonstrate how to mix and create new colors. Share this idea |
