Ocean in a Bag  Age Group
Preschool Suppliesplastic ziploc bag for each child, sand, shaving cream, blue food coloring, seashells, small foam surfboard, foam or plastic sea shapes DescriptionAllow each child to pour enough sand to cover the bottom of the ziploc bag. Add seashells and other items so that they can be seen from the outside of the bag. Squirt some shaving cream into the bag and add a few drops of blue food coloring. Close and seal the bag. Allow the children to rub their fingers over the outside of the bag to mix the food coloring and shaving cream to create foamy waves. SUGGESTION: Seal the bag with blue or clear packing tape so the children cannot get into the shaving cream. Share this idea |
